Archery Instructor

About the position

The Upper Main Line YMCA is looking for an enthusiastic Archery Instructor to plan, organize and deliver value-driven programs to participants in accordance with YMCA goals and objectives. The YMCA of Greater Brandywine is a non-profit organization committed to nurturing the potential of every child, promoting healthy living, and fostering social responsibility through life-changing programs for all.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and lead Youth activities for all participants
• Lead with enthusiasm and positive motivation
• Organize and maintain program records including, but not limited to: waivers, attendance records, rosters, etc.
• Manage all equipment
• Maintain a clean and risk-free environment
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants and that all children are picked up by parent/guardian
• Communicate positively and accurately with all the parents/guardians of participants
• Promote other YMCA programs with participants and parents/guardians
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Demonstrate ability to develop and teach skills
• Demonstrate the ability to relate and positively interact with children and adults
• Ability to effectively use technology for programmatic needs
• US Archery Instructor certification preferred
