About the position

The Archery Sales Associate at Cabela's is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support in the archery department. This role involves greeting customers, demonstrating products, and assisting them in making informed purchasing decisions. The associate will also maintain product displays, restock merchandise, and ensure a clean and organized work area, all while promoting a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge all customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Demonstrate products to customers and provide information and assistance.
• Replenish product on shelves as required per merchandising guidelines.
• Remain knowledgeable of advertised sales and maintain pricing and signing.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves and restock merchandise as required.
• Keep work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Assist customers in making buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs and making product recommendations.

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system.
