About the position
The Sales Outfitter - Archery is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support in a retail environment, specifically focused on archery products. This role involves greeting customers, demonstrating products, and assisting with their purchasing decisions to ensure a pleasant shopping experience. The Sales Outfitter will also maintain product displays, restock merchandise, and uphold company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Greet and acknowledge all customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
- Demonstrate products to customers and provide information and assistance.
- Replenish product on shelves as required per merchandising guidelines.
- Remain knowledgeable of advertised sales and maintain pricing and signing.
- Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves and restock merchandise as required.
- Keep work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
- Provide a legendary experience for every customer by assisting in making buying decisions.
- Identify and evaluate customers' needs and make product recommendations.
- Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
Requirements
- High School education or equivalent experience.
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers.
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
- Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system.
