As an Architect 4 in Software Architecture at Comcast, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical leadership and developing innovative web services within an Agile development environment. Your primary responsibilities will include utilizing C# for web service development, crafting SQL scripts and objects, and employing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for extract, transform, load (ETL) processes. You will also leverage SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) to create and deploy reports, ensuring that our data-driven solutions meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices using Concourse, which will enhance our development workflow. You will work with OAuth authentication methodologies to secure our applications and develop robotic process automation (RPA) business process workflows using UiPath Studio. Additionally, you will create user interface frameworks using Angular and develop business data workflows with Alteryx, ensuring that our solutions are not only functional but also user-friendly. Your position will require you to interface with the enterprise architecture team and other functional areas to design efficient solutions that meet business needs. You will track and document requirements for enterprise development projects and enhancements, while also monitoring current and future technology trends that could positively impact our organizational projects. Your ability to apply and integrate emerging technological trends into new and existing systems architecture will be crucial. You will present your solutions to senior architects and plan and design new or upgraded systems. Mentoring team members in relevant technologies and implementation architecture will also be a key aspect of your role. Furthermore, you will develop, document, and ensure compliance with best practices, including coding standards, object-oriented designs, and human interface guidelines. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely one or more days per week, in accordance with company policy.
