About the position

The Architect and Design Development Manager at Miele Incorporated is responsible for developing and executing strategies to sell luxury products while fostering relationships with dealers and industry professionals. This role involves engaging with key decision-makers, managing existing dealer relationships, and participating in marketing and promotional activities to achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategy to sell Miele luxury products.
• Inform, inspire, educate, and engage Authorized Dealers and industry professionals.
• Focus on sales budgets, new business development, and maintaining customer relationships.
• Establish new retail customers and key developers.
• Manage existing dealers to increase sales volumes in the assigned territory.
• Create monthly business review meetings with key business partners.
• Increase branding through territory marketing and dealer displays.
• Maintain brand display excellence.
• Contact existing customers to inform and train them on new products.
• Participate in trade shows and dealer promotions.
• Support and implement marketing plans and new product launches.
• Prospect and interact with key decision makers for multi-unit project opportunities.

Requirements

• Five years of experience in outside sales of luxury brands preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue.
• Field sales experience preferred.
• Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with CRM is a plus.
• Organizational and leadership ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated presentation and problem resolution skills.
• Ability to accommodate a minimum of 4 nights per week of overnight travel.
• Valid Driver's License.
