About the position

Angelo Ng + Anthony Ng Architects Studio, PC is seeking an Intermediate CAD Draftsperson to join our busy architectural firm located in Fresh Meadows, NY. This full-time position involves working closely with the Principal Architect on a variety of projects, including residential and commercial base buildings, alterations, and interior renovations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and administering each phase of the project, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing information is coordinated effectively on a day-to-day basis. The role requires a multi-tasker who can handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy. Candidates should possess a strong knowledge of construction details, NYC building codes, zoning ordinances, and ADA regulations. The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines is essential, as is the capability to efficiently manage project hours. This position is primarily office-based, but some travel will be required for project meetings and other related duties. Responsibilities

• Work directly with the Principal Architect to manage and administer each phase of the project.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing information on a day-to-day basis.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ensure compliance with NYC Building Codes, NYC Zoning Ordinances, and ADA Regulations.
• Efficiently manage project hours and deadlines.
• Participate in project meetings and related duties that may require travel.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of construction technical work experience.
• Proficient drafting skills using AutoCAD, including layer management.
• Knowledge of NYC Building Codes and Zoning Ordinances.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Strong multi-tasking capabilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
