Translates business needs for the Claimsdomain into architectural solutions that meet performance,reliability and security expectations. Applies enterprise roadmaps,principles, standards, and practices to drive their domainstrategies and execution. QUALIFICATIONS Experience: 10 + years' experience in Architecture Domain - Must haveexperience in Claims domain - claims processing system - claimsintake, payment of claims Background in Cobol/Mainframe is REQUIRED. Candidate needed to beable to understand from a high level what a Cobol program does. Healthcare background REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) Ability to motivate and influence others so that project objectivesare met in a timely manner. Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to develop high qualitysolutions. Ability to coach, delegate, and develop architects andengineers Ability to managing cross-domain architecture solutions andissues. Expertise with domain related architecture frameworks, methods andtools. Education: Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Education Details: Computer Science, Information Technology, orrelated field Preferred: Advanced degree In Lieu of Education: In lieu of a bachelor's degree, an additional4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to therequired work experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 30% Leads preparation of Claims domain architecture viewpoints andmodels depicting current, target, and interim states. Use currentstate viewpoints to identify and analyze pain points andopportunities (PPOs). Lead advanced modeling and analysis to meetthe strategic needs of the organization with respect to Claimssystem, information, functional/non-functional needs, performanceand security/regulatory requirements. Create and utilize Claimsarchitecture patterns and ensure alignment with IT strategies andreference architectures. Ensure target state alignment andintegration across architecture domains. Ensure upstream alignment/ traceability to business needs via business architecture anddownstream alignment / traceability with solution building blocks.Leads the extension / enhancement of domain architecturestrategies, standards, and guidelines. Identify and supportdevelopment of reusable domain patterns. 20% Leads design, engineering and implementation of Claims assetsfor internal use in solutions to improve solution quality;collaborate through implementation phase. Leads peer reviews andrepresent the architecture domain in briefings to the ArchitectureReview Board. Oversees publishing and maintenance of viewpoints /work products in the architecture repository, ensuring they areorganized, accurate, and accessible. Disposition stakeholdercomments / feedback received via project and non-project channels.Ensures that regulatory and compliance issues are addressed insolutions. 15% Leads collaboration with other teams (business and technical),key stakeholders, and partners to understand needs to maximizearchitecture impact and address technical limitations. Leads theevaluation/selection of a solution / product design that alignswith IT / Domain strategies, standards, and guidelines. 10% Leads research emerging domain trends to determine theirrelevancy and fit for the organization. 10% Leads vendor evaluations and selection process broadly; leadsvendor evaluation and selection for domain-specific tooling.Represent the architecture domain in the drafting of RFIs/RFPs andthe evaluation / scoring of vendor proposals. 10% Leads the development / enhancement of architecture domainmethods and tools. Ensure the alignment / integration of domainarchitecture processes / deliverables with those of otherarchitecture domains and SDLC disciplines. Leads development ofdomain related communications / education materiel for use withstakeholders and architecture / SDLC partners. 5% Leads domain assessments for most complex new / proposedprojects for architecture impacts in support of annual planning,resource estimation, and alignment with IT strategy and enterprisearchitecture. Provide input to project, product, and enterprisetechnology roadmaps. Provide regular reporting on progress, issues,and opportunities related to architecture domain.
