About the position

The Architect & Designer Sales Manager (ADSM) at Cosentino is responsible for developing and managing sales strategies to enhance product awareness and acceptance in the contract design and commercial segments. This role involves engaging with architects, designers, and contractors to drive sales of Cosentino's innovative surfacing products for both interior and exterior applications. The ADSM will work collaboratively with the sales team to execute sales plans, manage budgets, and foster relationships within the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage short- and long-term sales plans to penetrate architectural and design firms, developers, and corporate accounts.
  • Execute sales plans within agreed-upon timelines from customers or Cosentino Management.
  • Manage own sales budget and maintain discipline to stay within assigned sales and expense budgets.
  • Promote Cosentino's products through formal presentations to architects and designers.
  • Represent Cosentino at local chapter events for ASID, IIDA & AIA and other targeted associations.
  • Develop new project opportunities through personal sales efforts and relationships with industry professionals.
  • Maintain accurate project details in the project management database (Salesforce CRM).
  • Communicate effectively across all parties to ensure successful sales implementation of programs.
  • Coordinate with Account Managers and business partners to ensure successful project execution.
  • Commit to continual learning about Cosentino Surfacing Products and their applications.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of building materials/construction/commercial projects sales experience.
  • 2+ years of proven capacity to interact with multiple levels within commercial industry projects.
  • 1+ year of business development experience.
  • High School/GED required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Stone fabrication or distribution experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
