About the position

The Architect & Designer Sales Manager (ADSM) at Cosentino is responsible for developing and managing sales strategies to enhance product awareness and acceptance in the contract design and commercial segments. This role involves actively engaging with architects, designers, and contractors to drive sales and brand loyalty for Cosentino's innovative surfacing products. The ADSM will create and execute sales plans, promote products through presentations, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage sales strategies to penetrate architectural and design firms, developers, and corporate accounts.
  • Create short- and long-term sales plans to gain specifications and sales of work surfaces, flooring, and cladding.
  • Execute sales plans within agreed-upon timelines and manage sales budgets effectively.
  • Promote Cosentino's products through formal presentations to architects and designers.
  • Represent Cosentino at local chapter events and develop new project opportunities through networking.
  • Maintain accurate project details in the project management database (Salesforce CRM).
  • Coordinate with account managers and contractors to ensure successful project execution.
  • Commit to continual learning about Cosentino products and provide key sales information to senior management.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of sales experience in building materials, construction, or commercial projects.
  • 2+ years of experience interacting with multiple levels within commercial industry projects.
  • 1+ year of business development experience.
  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in stone fabrication or distribution.
