About the position

Garrett Singer Architecture + Design is seeking a motivated and talented Architectural Draftsperson specializing in Hospitality Design. The role involves working on various projects, primarily focused on designing restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture, particularly in hospitality, and will be responsible for producing construction documents and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed construction documents for hospitality projects.
• Conduct research as required for project development.
• Check submittals and respond to requests for information.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
• Attend site visits as needed to ensure project compliance.

Requirements

• Expertise in AutoCAD is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional drafting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a 5-year professional degree.
• Proven ability to produce construction documents.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under deadlines.
• Knowledge of ADA regulations and NYC code and zoning regulations is helpful.
• Familiarity with graphic standards and building construction methods.
• Strong work ethic and fluency in English.
