About the position

The Domain Architect for Benefits Enrollment is responsible for driving enterprise optimization within the Enrollment domain by leveraging extensive knowledge and expertise to develop architectural solutions that align with business needs. This role involves translating business requirements into effective architectural strategies while ensuring performance, reliability, and security. The architect will lead the preparation of architectural viewpoints, collaborate with stakeholders, and oversee the implementation of solutions to enhance the quality of enrollment systems.

Responsibilities

• Leads preparation of Enrollment domain architecture viewpoints and models depicting current, target, and interim states.
• Identifies and analyzes pain points and opportunities using current state viewpoints.
• Leads design, engineering, and implementation of assets for internal use in solutions to improve solution quality.
• Collaborates with other teams and stakeholders to understand needs and maximize architecture impact.
• Leads research on emerging domain trends to determine their relevancy and fit for the organization.
• Leads vendor evaluations and selection processes for domain-specific tooling.
• Develops and enhances architecture domain methods and tools.
• Leads domain assessments for complex new projects to evaluate architecture impacts.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Architecture Domain, specifically in Benefits Enrollment.
• Background in Cobol/Mainframe is required, with the ability to understand Cobol program functions.
• Healthcare background is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• In lieu of a bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.
