About the position

The Architect, Network DevOps will lead the transformation of the strategy and platforms for next-generation operations across Marriott's global networks, which include Property Networks, Datacenter/Cloud Networks, and Corporate Networks. This role requires close collaboration with a matrixed team of network architects to drive the adoption of DevOps practices and operating models on a global scale. The Architect is responsible for establishing management-level relationships and partnering with various business disciplines, other MI teams, outsourcing vendors, and external suppliers to define and implement the Network DevOps roadmap, while building and enforcing the standards defined within it. A key focus will be on identifying opportunities for proactive and reactive automation solutions across the network. The Architect will develop and execute new initiatives aimed at simplifying, standardizing, optimizing, and automating network designs, tooling, and operations. This will help reduce implementation cycle times, eliminate service downtime, optimize performance, and ensure that all security and compliance requirements are fully governed. The role also involves ensuring that overall requirements from customers and peer delivery and operations groups are met, with accountabilities that include working with continental IT executives, property LAN service providers, end-user computing services delivery, hosting services, enterprise availability, server, storage, virtualization, and risk management.
