About the position

Baskervill is seeking an experienced Project Architect/Designer to join their Healthcare studio. This role emphasizes teamwork, creative excellence, and strong client relationships, focusing on designing healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will manage multiple projects, ensuring high-quality design and technical execution while fostering a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and production from programming and concept through construction administration.
• Lead planning through all phases, including programming, design, fit-out, and equipment planning.
• Manage multiple projects of varying sizes, providing project management and internal team guidance through every phase of design.
• Coach and mentor team members to oversee design and technical quality throughout project execution.
• Work directly with internal teams and consultants to develop creative healthcare planning strategies.
• Act as the primary client contact, fostering client relationships and presenting design deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• 10+ years of professional architecture experience.
• 5+ years of healthcare architecture experience.
• License or working towards licensure in architecture.
• Proficiency in Revit is required.
• Experience managing client relationships and overseeing design documentation and construction processes.
• Ability to travel to other Baskervill offices or client project locations as needed.
