About the position

The Architect II position at Martin Gardner Architecture involves managing in-house duties on smaller projects or specific designs of larger projects independently. This role is integral to the architectural design team, requiring a solid foundation in architectural practice, design capability, and experience in project involvement. The Architect II will contribute to the design process and begin taking on leadership roles within projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage in-house duties on smaller projects or specific designs of larger projects independently.
• Contribute to the architectural design process and support the development of concepts.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to design discussions.
• Interface with contractors and consultants as a representative of MGA.

Requirements

• A professional degree in architecture from an accredited program.
• Licensed as an Architect.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Technical knowledge in architectural design principles, building codes, Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Suite.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Rhino, SketchUp, 3ds Max, and Lumion.
• Excellent presentation, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team and contribute to a cohesive work environment.
