About the position

Leidos is seeking a degreed Architect to provide architectural support for FAA Terminal facilities in the Eastern Service Area. The role involves reviewing construction documents, performing remedial design, conducting system surveys, and engaging in Building Enclosure Commissioning. The position requires up to 50% travel and is based in College Park, GA.

Responsibilities

• Review construction documents including architectural drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and submittals relative to the building enclosure for FAA Terminal facilities.
• Perform remedial roof and envelope design for existing facilities.
• Conduct system surveys and oversee field tests.
• Engage in Building Enclosure Commissioning and prepare technical reports.
• Generate layouts, manage project timelines, and coordinate with teams.
• Produce AutoCAD drawings, manage project risks, and monitor progress.

Requirements

• Architecture degree from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in building enclosures and proficient in computer modeling.
• Knowledge of BIM and relevant building codes.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications and AutoCAD/Revit.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
