Responsibilities

  • Determine strategic and pragmatic approaches to project design.
  • Identify materials and ensure compliance with zoning and code requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions for complex design issues.
  • Lead all project phases from concept through design development to client approval.
  • Create conceptual designs, presentations, and detailed Revit drawings.
  • Collaborate with design teams, clients, and regulatory agencies to meet project objectives.
  • Conduct occupancy studies and zoning analyses during pre-design tasks.
  • Lead construction administration, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
  • Document site visits and coordinate with consultant teams for project documentation.
  • Research and specify materials based on performance criteria for project execution.
  • Integrate sustainability practices and coordinate project certifications.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field plus two years of design experience, or a Bachelor's degree plus five years of progressive design experience.
  • Experience producing high-quality renderings, site plans, and construction details for various project types.
  • Proficiency in coordinating with multiple consultants and contractors for project documentation.
  • Experience preparing schematic design, design development, and construction document sets using software like AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Ability to develop all design stages for large complex projects, including sustainability simulations.
  • Knowledge of construction administration processes and building codes.
  • Experience in façade design and analysis for optimized building performance.
  • Familiarity with LEED certification processes and carbon footprint reduction strategies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with 3D rendering software such as V-Ray and Enscape.
  • Familiarity with environmental product declaration analysis.
