About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and talented BIM Designer with a strong architectural background to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Revit, possess excellent organizational and communication skills, and have the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of Revit models.
  • Provide BIM/REVIT project kick-off information.
  • Manage and maintain daily model updates.
  • Create BIM content and support linked views in multiple model situations.
  • Integrate REVIT products with other applications.
  • Develop designs utilizing BIM under the direction of design professionals and Project Coordinator.
  • Ensure accuracy of construction documents based on BIM Modeling.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines on design changes and model challenges.
  • Adhere to BIM execution plans and content standards.
  • Lead the development of discipline-specific BIM modeling content for projects.
  • Print drawing sets and participate in discipline reviews.
  • Prepare models and content for BIM Coordination Meetings.
  • Export DWF and other formats for internal and external collaboration.
  • Produce high-quality renderings from BIM Models for marketing or presentation purposes.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience as a BIM/Revit designer in an architectural firm.
  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
  • Strong understanding of architectural design principles and construction processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Experience in multi-discipline collaboration.
  • Knowledge of architectural drawing practices and standards.
  • Ability to QC own work and maintain office standards.
  • Eye for graphic presentation and drawing composition.
