About the position

The Architectural Designer/Drafter position at Fontanese Folts Aubrecht Ernst Architects, P.C. involves working collaboratively on various projects across multiple markets, including healthcare, commercial, municipal, industrial, and residential sectors. The role requires a self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal and organizational skills to contribute positively to the work environment. The successful candidate will assist in generating and modifying architectural plans and details while coordinating with engineering consultants under the supervision of a Job Captain or Project Architect.

Responsibilities

• Assist in generating and modifying accurate plans, sections, elevations, and details.
• Assist in coordinating the project's Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire Protection Plans with Engineering consultants.
• Manage time across multiple tasks to perform duties on schedule within a fluid work structure.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience with AutoCAD Architecture (preferred).
• 3 years of experience with Revit and/or SketchUp (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop products.
• Basic understanding of construction and detailing.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with rendering skills in Revit.
• Familiarity with Sketchup and/or Adobe InDesign.
• Pursuing A.R.E. among near future goals.
