About the position

The Thrasher Group is seeking an Architectural Designer/Draftsman to join their Buildings and Facilities team in Charleston, West Virginia. This role involves utilizing advanced technology to design and draft architectural projects, ranging from new constructions to renovations, ensuring high-quality deliverables throughout the design process.

Responsibilities

• Design and draft using Revit and other applications for new construction and renovation projects.
• Produce high-quality deliverables for clients at all stages of the design process.
• Gain an understanding of building systems, codes, and construction methods.
• Produce architectural/interior design work and assist in the preparation of construction documents.
• Assist with design calculations, quantities, review technical specifications, and design estimates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 1 - 3 years of industry experience.
• Proficient with Revit and Lumion or similar 3D modeling software.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
