We are currently seeking several Architectural Designers to join our Facilities group. As an Architectural Designer I, you will be responsible for using computer-aided drafting (CAD) software to create construction documents and detailed designs of buildings and interiors under the guidance of a project Architect. You will assist with building conditions assessments, reports, and field documentation for various projects. Additionally, you will help with building code reviews and compliance studies, ensuring that all designs meet the necessary regulations. Your role will also involve verifying construction projects for compliance with plans and specifications, contributing to the overall success of our architectural projects.

Responsibilities

  • Using computer-aided drafting (CAD) software to create construction documents and detailed designs of buildings and interiors from the guidance of a project Architect
  • Assist with Building conditions assessments, reports, and field documentation for projects
  • Assist with Building code reviews and compliant studies, under the guidance of a Project Architect
  • Verification of construction projects for compliance with plans and specifications

Requirements

  • An associate's degree or certification program in architectural drafting, or similar
  • A minimum of 2 years of applicable experience preferred
  • American design drafting association (ADDA) certification preferred
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software; experience with REVIT and AutoCAD is preferred
  • Knowledge of building design, specifications, and construction documents
  • Proficient in technical writing and possess proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively within a project team environment
  • Desire to learn quickly and be self-motivated
  • Take personal responsibility for the accurate and timely completion of assignments on various projects
