About the position

The Architectural Designer will work closely with project design teams and clients throughout all phases of the architectural design process, particularly focusing on healthcare design projects. This role involves contributing to project schedules and budgets, attending meetings, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure project success. The position requires strong technical skills and the ability to maintain organized project files while traveling to project and client meetings as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Work with design teams in the development of healthcare design projects from concepts to construction administration, with an emphasis on detailing and documentation.
• Demonstrate strong technical skills and contribute to an energetic and creative process.
• Assist in creating and managing project schedules and budgets.
• Attend and participate in project meetings.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and design team consultants to ensure project success.
• Maintain and organize project files efficiently.
• Travel to project and client meetings as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Master of Architecture from an accredited program.
• Relevant built work experience, with healthcare project experience considered a plus.
• Strong technical project detailing and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in documenting all phases of the design process.
• Excellent graphic and verbal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Revit.
• Solid MS Office abilities.

• Knowledge of Enscape and Adobe Suite preferred.
• Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
