About the position

As a Front Desk Associate at WeWork, you will serve as the primary point of contact for members and guests, embodying the hospitality spirit of the company. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming environment, supporting the Community Management team, and ensuring smooth front desk operations. You will engage with members, manage building operations, and promote WeWork's services, all while upholding the company's core values.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all members and guests warmly and manage front desk operations during business hours.
  • Register and check in visiting guests according to WeWork's guest policies.
  • Provide orientation and relevant information to first-time visitors and guests.
  • Issue and collect keys from members and guests as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  • Notify members of food deliveries and packages.
  • Build relationships with members by learning their names and businesses.
  • Track relevant member notes and information in WeWork systems.
  • Answer questions from members and guests about WeWork products and services.
  • Identify opportunities to celebrate members' successes and milestones.
  • Explain WeWork policies and procedures to members and guests.
  • Recommend local services and amenities to members and guests.
  • Assist with mail and package handling throughout the day.
  • Monitor the appearance and functionality of the workspace and make adjustments as needed.
  • Help maintain building amenities and respond to emergencies promptly.

Requirements

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and a passion for meeting new people.
  • Ability to multitask while prioritizing member experience.
  • Experience in hospitality, retail, or customer service is preferred but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Demonstrated integrity, dependability, and work ethic.
  • Understanding and alignment with WeWork's mission and values.
  • Secondary school certificate is preferred but not required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Familiarity with community engagement and relationship building.
