About the position

As a mid-level Architectural Designer in Jacobs' Advanced Facilities - Electronics group, you will play a crucial role in designing state-of-the-art microelectronics facilities, data centers, and advanced industrial and commercial facilities. This hybrid position based in Portland, OR, offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative team of architects and designers, focusing on architectural design assignments while engaging with clients and subcontractors. You will enhance your design capabilities and communication skills through mentorship and hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform architectural design assignments using prescribed methods and standards.
• Design interior space layouts and exterior appearance & detailing of advanced facilities.
• Engage with clients and subcontractors throughout the design process.
• Collaborate with team members to develop design capabilities and communication skills.
• Utilize computer-based 3D modeling and illustration tools to create design concepts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• 2-5 years of architecture experience required.
• Proficiency in Revit 3D modeling.
• Experience with SketchUp, Adobe Suite, InDesign, and Navisworks.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Portland, OR.
