At LDG, we strive to create an organization where people want to work, offering a flexible work environment, paid training for required licensures, competitive benefits, bonus plans, and a company-funded Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) while supporting your professional and personal growth. The Architectural Designer will apply intermediate architectural principles to complete design computations, prepare written technical reports, design plans, and details. This role may involve overseeing standard project development and making minor project decisions. The designer will be responsible for developing technically accurate, clean, and deliverable drawings, writing specifications, reviewing submittals, and coordinating project submissions. Additionally, the designer will coordinate the preparation of advanced multi-discipline drawing sets as required for assigned projects, including collaboration with technical, administrative, and other design staff. Promoting, utilizing, and supporting quality assurance and quality control processes to improve the quality of deliverables and reduce design errors and omissions is essential, as is reviewing and coordinating technical staff work prior to submission. The designer will also research and understand code compliance requirements for assigned projects and will have the ability to independently create simple standard details that may be required for a project under the guidance of a supervisor.
