About the position

BCV Architecture + Interiors is an award-winning design firm specializing in lifestyle and culture-oriented projects, including private residences, restaurants, wineries, market halls, stores, and retail centers. The firm is known for applying timeless, environmentally sound design principles across a diverse range of scales, from master planning large projects to designing single-family homes and custom furniture. BCV is currently seeking an Architectural Designer with 5-8 years of experience to join our team in San Francisco or New York City. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated and versatile designer, capable of supporting projects from concept studies and presentations through to technical execution. This role requires fluency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite, with a preference for candidates who have experience in hospitality and/or residential projects. The position is full-time and offers a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities

  • Support projects from concept studies and presentations through technical execution.
  • Collaborate with team members on design and project development.
  • Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Conduct site visits and assist in project management tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders regarding project progress and design intent.

Requirements

  • Degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture from an accredited college/university.
  • 5-8 years of professional experience in architecture or design.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with restaurant/hospitality and/or residential projects is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and graphic communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SketchUp or other modeling/rendering software.
  • LEED Certification is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced design environment.
