About the position

The Architectural Designer at Integrity Roofing & Construction is responsible for creating innovative and functional designs for roofing, remodeling, and construction projects. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their vision and requirements, utilizing design software to produce detailed plans and presentations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and local building codes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creativity in construction.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences, project requirements, and budget constraints.
• Create detailed design plans for roofing, remodeling, and construction projects, ensuring alignment with client vision and industry standards.
• Utilize design software to produce high-quality 3D renderings, sketches, and layouts for client presentations.
• Work closely with construction and project management teams to ensure design accuracy throughout project execution.
• Source and recommend materials, fixtures, and finishes that complement the design and project scope.
• Provide design expertise and creative solutions to meet project goals while maintaining functionality and aesthetic appeal.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather necessary measurements and data.
• Stay up to date on the latest trends, materials, and innovations in the roofing, remodeling, and construction industries.
• Present design concepts to clients and make revisions based on feedback.
• Ensure all designs comply with local building codes and regulations.
• Ensure the roofing design integrates with the overall building structure, considering load-bearing capacity, ventilation, and insulation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in design, with a focus on roofing, remodeling, or construction projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar.
• Strong understanding of roofing, construction, and remodeling principles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey design ideas to clients and team members.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and project managers.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work on-site for design consultations and project evaluations.
• A creative and innovative mindset with a strong sense of aesthetics.
