About the position
The Architectural Designer position in Houston, TX, offers an exciting opportunity to join a reputable Architecture and Design Firm. The role involves collaborating with project architects to prepare various architectural drawings and documentation, contributing to a range of projects including educational, commercial, and municipal designs.
Responsibilities
- Work with Project Architect in preparing conceptual, design development, schematic, and construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Perform architectural drawing and generate drawing revisions and corrections from redlined drawings.
- Review design documents and construction estimates.
- Assist in coordinating with engineering consultants and coordinating documents with Civil, MEP, and Structural drawings.
- Work with manufacturers, vendors, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture required.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in all phases of architectural projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required.
- Strong technical, code and detailing skills for quality documentation.
- Proactive written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in Education K-12, Higher Education, Commercial, Municipal, Medical, Religious preferred.
