This position requires the candidate to be part of a project team and to work individually at times, while having the support and resources of a large, experienced team of design professionals. The Architectural Designer will be responsible for communicating project requirements effectively and managing various projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT is essential, along with a detail-oriented approach and exceptional organizational skills. The role involves meeting with clients, contractors, in-house staff, and consultants, necessitating strong communication skills. This opportunity affords a dynamic role, working with all disciplines of the A/E industry on an array of projects for various market segments. Primary responsibilities include serving as project manager, providing project team direction, scheduling, assessing project budgets, and meeting deliverable milestones. The Architectural Designer will manage small teams of architects, designers, and/or draftspeople, participate in the conceptual development of project designs and drawings for design presentations, assist with referendum planning efforts for various Board of Educations, prepare NYSED project forms, visit job sites to survey existing conditions, prepare project reports, cost estimates, feasibility studies, and other documents required of various project phases. Additionally, the designer will develop architectural schematic design and construction documents in REVIT and AutoCAD. This position is a Contract-to-Hire role with a duration of 12 months, and it is fully on-site in Goshen, New York.
