About the position

The Architectural Designer at The Dimension Group will assist architects in preparing building designs and plans, gaining familiarity with the company's programs and procedures. This entry-level position involves using various design software to create construction documents and models, contributing to the overall design process under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of building designs and plans using computer-assisted design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Prepare scale drawings, models, and construction documents for building contractors, owners/clients, and for internal use.
• Assist in the preparation of presentation drawings, design analysis, and various studies and reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture is preferred.
• 1-2 years of architectural design work experience required.
• Ability to understand and interpret construction drawings.
• Ability to communicate the appropriate design intent both graphically and in written form.
• Ability to efficiently utilize time in executing assigned tasks neatly and accurately.
• Ability to effectively coordinate with internal engineering team members.
