About the position
The Architectural Designer position involves working on-site to design residential and commercial buildings for a client in the architecture sector. This role is a contract-to-permanent opportunity, indicating a long-term need for the client, and requires proficiency in AutoCAD, with additional knowledge in SketchUp and Revit being preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design residential and commercial buildings using AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to develop architectural plans.
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction.
- Ensure designs comply with building codes and regulations.
- Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture preferred or relevant experience.
- 3 years of professional experience as an architectural designer.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
- Knowledge of SketchUp and Revit is preferred.
- Previous experience working on residential and commercial buildings is required.
- A portfolio showcasing previous work is preferred.
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
