About the position

Coastal Life Design, a premier design-build showroom specializing in luxury renovations in the Anna Maria Island / Longboat Key area, is seeking a talented Senior Architectural Designer / Sales Professional to join our team. As an Architectural Designer, you will play a pivotal role in our projects, guiding clients through the entire design and renovations process—from conceptualization to construction. This position requires a creative individual with a passion for transforming homes and creating stunning spaces that reflect our clients' unique styles and preferences. In this role, you will engage with clients to understand their goals and preferences for renovations. You will create as-built, conceptual, and permit drawings using Chief Architect, which is a must-have expertise for this position. Leading client meetings in our showroom will be a key responsibility, where you will guide clients through the process and finalize product specifications, including design, colors, and finishes. You will also source finish materials and assist clients in selecting items such as cabinetry, countertops, cabinetry hardware, plumbing, and electrical fixtures. Additionally, you will participate in pre-construction meetings, contract reviews, and mid-job walkthroughs, fostering strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members throughout the process. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative work environment and is dedicated to creating exceptional client experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients to understand their goals and preferences for renovations.
  • Create as-built, conceptual, and permit drawings using Chief Architect.
  • Lead client meetings in our showroom to guide clients through the process, finalize product specifications, including design, colors, and finishes.
  • Source finish materials and assist clients in selecting items such as cabinetry, countertops, cabinetry hardware, plumbing, and electrical fixtures.
  • Participate in pre-construction meetings, contract reviews, and mid-job walkthroughs.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in residential design, with a focus on Kitchen & Bath.
  • Proficiency in Chief Architect and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • NKBA certification preferred.
  • A passion for creating exceptional client experiences and a collaborative work environment.
