About the position

Actalent is seeking an Architectural Designer to join their mid-sized architecture firm in Chicago for a temporary position lasting 3 months. The role involves preparing detailed drawings and construction documents, coordinating with project managers and team members, and potentially taking on project management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings and produce construction documents in Revit
• Coordinate with PM and internal project team members to ensure project is on schedule and meets design requirements
• Assist Project Managers and/or Project Directors with field measurements of existing buildings
• Take on PM responsibilities if capable

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Architecture or relevant field is required
• 3 or more years of experience completing construction documents in a team environment
• Fully proficient in Revit; AutoCAD and Sketchup are a plus
• Building envelope design experience
• Previous experience working on hospitality, retail, restaurant projects is highly preferred
• Licensure is not required
