About the position

The SLAM Collaborative is seeking an Architectural Designer for their Denver office, aimed at candidates with 0-3 years of experience. This role involves working closely with project teams on various projects, particularly focusing on public education. The position requires the ability to take direction, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team while managing changing directives and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Continuously collaborate with project teams and internal members.
• Develop and express design concepts accurately and rapidly to meet deadlines.
• Attend client meetings both in-house and at client sites.
• Support the needs of internal and external clients.
• Maintain positive communications with colleagues and clients.
• Consult manufacturers and evaluate materials as needed.
• Write architectural specifications when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) or Master of Architecture (March) degree.
• 0-3 years of experience in architectural design.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient organizational and time management skills.
