About the position

LK Architecture is seeking an Architectural Designer to provide drafting support for a variety of development projects. This role involves preparing detailed architectural drawings and plans under the guidance of senior team members, ensuring adherence to drafting procedures, and collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines and budget constraints.

Responsibilities

• Plans and drafts design development and construction drawings under the direction of a Job Captain, Project Manager, or Project Architect.
• Understand and adhere to office drafting procedures and/or specific client drafting procedures.
• Work closely with team members to complete projects on aggressive schedules by meeting deadlines within expected time and budget constraints.
• Generate revisions and corrections from outline mock-ups, redlined drawings, and project document sets.
• Interpret, understand, and coordinate with other disciplines' drawings.
• Implement drawing modification procedures and prepare drawings accordingly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or Interior Architecture preferred.
• 1 year of experience with AutoCAD required.
• 1 year of experience with Revit required.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with medium voltage and telecommunications highly valued.
