We are currently seeking a talented, creative, and highly motivated Architectural Designer to join our Philadelphia office. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with partners, associates, and project architects on a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will be involved in developing and presenting technical and presentation documents for a wide range of clients, project types, and scales. The role requires a proactive approach to design opportunities and technical challenges, as well as the ability to coordinate consultant efforts and documentation effectively. As an Architectural Designer at AOS Architects, you will be expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing and adhering to various schedules and deadlines. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Partners, Associates and Project Architects to develop and present technical and presentation documents for a wide range of clients, project types and scales
  • Develop responses to design opportunities and technical challenges
  • Coordinate consultant efforts and documentation
  • Work on multiple projects while prioritizing and managing multiple schedules and deadlines

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Arch degree in architecture from an accredited program
  • 2-4 years of experience in design and documentation
  • A collaborative spirit
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • A willingness to learn and to mentor others
  • Excellent design, graphic and rendering skills
  • Strong Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and rendering software proficiency

Nice-to-haves

  • A love for older buildings is a plus
