An established, well-rounded architecture firm is seeking an Architectural Designer to join their dynamic team in Columbus, Ohio. This position is ideal for a highly motivated designer who is eager to participate in various aspects of architectural design, including preparing architectural presentations, construction drawings, and documents for a diverse range of projects. The Architectural Designer will play a crucial role in contributing to the design and execution of projects for both public and private sector clients, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality and compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Project Architect in preparing conceptual, design development, schematic, and construction drawings using Revit.
  • Perform architectural drawing and generate drawing revisions and corrections from redlined drawings.
  • Review design documents and construction estimates.
  • Assist in coordinating with engineering consultants and coordinating documents with Civil, MEP, and Structural drawings.
  • Work with manufacturers, vendors, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of experience in architectural design.
  • Degree in Architecture preferred.
  • Experienced in using Revit software.
  • Knowledge of the design process, building codes, building materials, and construction techniques.
  • Ability to problem solve individually and as part of a team.
  • Provide portfolio or samples of work in AutoCAD and Revit formats.
