Responsibilities

• Take ownership of residential projects from conception through completion, ensuring high standards of design and execution.
• Engage directly with clients to understand their needs, present design concepts, and deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
• Apply expertise to develop innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing residential designs.
• Balance working independently with collaborating effectively with other team members and disciplines.
• Oversee all phases of residential projects, including planning, design, and implementation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in architectural design with a strong portfolio showcasing detailed examples of projects worked on.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field is required; an accredited degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in related design required; experience in senior living, student housing, and regional builder product design preferred.
• Licensed Architect or on the path to licensure is preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, with a solid understanding of architectural concepts, spatial relationships, and building systems.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Familiarity with Building Codes and Zoning regulations.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with wood-framed structures is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to clearly articulate design ideas and project updates to clients and team members.
