The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in the field of architecture, preferably with a valid architecture license. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, splitting time between our vibrant Seattle waterfront office and your home office, fostering a collaborative and engaging work culture. As an Architectural Designer, you will be involved in all stages of design, from early concepts through to construction administration. You will work closely with clients and team members, utilizing your strong communication skills to enhance relationships and collaboration. Responsibilities

  • Work on all stages of architectural design from early concepts through construction administration.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to enhance relationships and project outcomes.

  • Provide mentorship to younger staff and support their professional growth.
  • Produce working drawings, specifications, and technical narratives as needed.
  • Utilize creativity to develop thoughtful design solutions for complex commercial projects.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with construction documents.
  • Assist in graphics and marketing efforts as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture (BArch or related).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in architectural design.
  • Strong communication skills for client relationships and team collaboration.
  • Willingness to embrace sustainable design practices.
  • Ability to work in multiple project roles, including project management and production of working drawings.
  • Technical skills in construction documents, code review, and construction administration.
  • Experience with Revit, Sketch-up, and AutoCAD.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with rendering in Twin Motion or similar software.
  • Proficiency in Adobe's Creative Cloud Suite.
  • Architecture License (preferred).
