Bumgardner - Seattle, WA

At Bumgardner, we strongly believe in an open interdisciplinary work environment. Our team members' responsibilities are not necessarily defined in the terms of typical architectural job titles, and often grow and adapt to fit a project's requirements, your career goals, and to the needs of the team as a whole. We are looking for professionals who have about 3 years of full-time employment on mixed-use housing or residential projects. Our firm primarily focuses on local projects, emphasizing a high level of community engagement. We prefer education and experience that relates to the local community, environment, and market. We value a variety of work experiences, not limited to architecture or construction—if you have additional experience, please reach out to us; we are happy to see if there is a way for you to fit into our team. The role requires a strong sense of ownership of all work, and the ability to implement and improve office-wide systems. Architectural role expectations are similar to AIA Architect Level I. The minimum requirements include 3+ years of experience, preferably in local mixed-use projects, and a desire to rapidly learn and grow professionally. Familiarity with industry-standard software such as Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, and Bluebeam is essential, while experience with new and emerging software is a plus. A positive attitude and the ability to flourish in a team environment are crucial for success in this role.
