About the position

The Architectural Designer position at SLAM Collaborative in Denver is designed for individuals with 0-3 years of experience who will work closely with project teams on various public education projects. The role emphasizes collaboration, independence, and the ability to adapt to changing directives while producing architectural plans and renderings under the supervision of senior architects.

Responsibilities

• Continuously collaborate with P-I-C and/or internal team members
• Develop and express concepts accurately and rapidly to meet deadlines
• Attend client meetings in-house and at client sites
• Support the needs of both internal and external clients
• Maintain positive communications and work with colleagues and clients
• Consult manufacturers and evaluate materials
• Write architectural specifications as needed

Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience in architectural design
• Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) or Master of Architecture (March) degree
• Proficiency in Revit
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in public education projects
• Familiarity with architectural specifications writing
