About the position

The Architectural Designer position in Bronx, NY offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about architecture to join a reputable firm. The role involves collaborating with project architects to create and refine architectural designs across various project types, including educational, commercial, and municipal buildings. Candidates will engage in all phases of architectural projects, from conceptual design to construction documentation, utilizing software tools like AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Work with Project Architect in preparing conceptual, design development, schematic, and construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Perform architectural drawing and generate drawing revisions and corrections from redlined drawings.
• Review design documents and construction estimates.
• Assist in coordinating with engineering consultants and coordinating documents with Civil, MEP, and Structural drawings.
• Work with manufacturers, vendors, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture required.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in all phases of architectural projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required.
• Strong technical, code and detailing skills for quality documentation.
• Proactive written and verbal communication skills.
