About the position

The Architectural Designer will support architects, engineers, and project managers in the development and implementation of creative, functional, and sustainable building designs for various projects in both public and private sectors. This role involves preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents while ensuring adherence to industry standards for design and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of detailed drawings showing both the external and internal appearance and structure of building projects.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze data from various sources for project development and design.
  • Conduct research and inspections of proposed and existing site conditions to ensure compliance with applicable rules and standards.
  • Input building technologies and design requirements to ensure safety and functionality for occupants.
  • Prepare complete and accurate visualizations using software and technical drawings.
  • Offer input and analysis on design concepts and construction activities to project managers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project work.
  • Complete training on assigned tasks and responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a closely related discipline.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant post-education experience in architecture.
  • Knowledge of architectural principles, practices, and processes.
  • Familiarity with building planning, drawing standards, and construction management.
  • Competent creative, visualization, and technical drawing skills.
  • Familiarity with sustainability concepts and green building design.
  • Strong knowledge of building and construction laws, codes, and compliance practices.
  • Analytical mindset with sound judgment in evaluating situations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves
