About the position

Iboy Construction Services is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Architectural Designer to join their team. This role focuses on creating transformative residential spaces by collaborating closely with clients and project teams. The designer will be responsible for translating client visions into reality while adhering to high standards of quality and client satisfaction. The position requires bilingual communication skills and proficiency in design software, along with a strong understanding of residential remodeling trends and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and construction teams to develop design concepts that align with project goals, budgets, and timelines.
• Conduct in-home consultations to discuss project scope, design preferences, and budget requirements.
• Create detailed design plans and presentations using industry-standard software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Chief Architect, 2020 Software, etc.).
• Stay current on design trends, materials, and sustainable practices to incorporate innovative approaches into project solutions.
• Oversee the design process from initial concept through project completion, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Provide bilingual (English and Spanish) support to enhance client communication and team collaboration.

Requirements

• Fluent in English and Spanish, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
• Bachelor's degree or certificate in architectural or interior design.
• 5-8 years in residential architectural or interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing residential remodeling projects.
• Expertise in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Chief Architect, 2020 Software, or similar tools.
• Deep understanding of construction processes, residential remodeling, and custom design for both interior and exterior spaces.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with exceptional attention to detail.
• NCIDQ, 2020, or similar certifications are a plus.
