The Architectural Designer/Project Architect role at Actalent involves working on multi-family and commercial projects, focusing on renovation and restoration efforts primarily in New York City. Responsibilities

• Produce drawings and specifications for renovation and restoration projects.
• Design, detail, and draft plans for various architectural projects.
• Visit field sites to take measurements and site photographs of existing conditions.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, particularly for multi-family projects.
• Travel to field sites as needed for project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a similar field.
• Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of historic preservation and rehabilitation.
• Working knowledge of construction document preparation.

Nice-to-haves

• Licensed Architect (preferred but not required).
• Experience with mixed-use and special needs housing projects.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
