About the position

The Architectural Designer position at Hixson Incorporated is designed for a detail-oriented design professional to develop expertise in large-scale Food and Beverage (GMP) facility designs. This role involves working within an integrated team of architects, engineers, and project managers on projects valued up to $500 million, fostering collaboration and enhancing architectural competencies, technical design knowledge, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of Food & Beverage (GMP) projects from preliminary design through construction documents.
• Work proactively across multi-discipline design teams.
• Manage time and work priorities independently.

Requirements

• BA in Architecture, BSAE, or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience required.
• Working knowledge of Revit.
• Commitment to professional growth and specialization in Food & Beverage (GMP) design projects.
• Proven self-starter.
