About the position

The Architectural Designer role focuses on analyzing construction documents for compliance with building codes and creating design drawings for clients. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders and occasional travel to job sites to enhance understanding of design requests and strengthen client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate technical layout drawings based on customer orders.
• Review building plans and material specifications to ensure compliance with local building codes.
• Collaborate with designers, framers, and architects to address and resolve any design or material discrepancies.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Architecture or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in the construction or building materials industry is preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Solid mathematical skills, including understanding fractions, percentages, and ratios/proportions.
