About the position
Tecton Architects is seeking an Architectural Designer to join their Providence, RI studio. This full-time, hybrid position is ideal for an emerging professional with a passion for impactful design. The role involves collaboration within a team to deliver quality architectural solutions, emphasizing design development and technical execution.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating on and contributing to project design development, documentation, and construction administration.
- Performing daily design, BIM modeling, programming, and technical development of a project.
- Investigating, evaluating, and recommending design solutions that best meet client needs.
- Independently applying architectural design concepts and producing materials to convey those concepts to the team, client, and contractor.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in Architecture is required.
- 2-5 years of experience in a professional setting are required, including internships and work placement programs.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience using Revit in an academic or professional setting is required.
- Fluency in design technology software, specifically REVIT, is required.
- A portfolio that demonstrates a high level of skill in design thinking and presentation media is required.
Nice-to-haves
- Sustainability accreditation is preferred.
- Advanced Revit knowledge is preferred.
