About the position

The Architectural Designer will evaluate, select, and apply architectural techniques and procedures to construction documents, working under general instruction from the Project Architect or Project Manager. This role involves direct interaction with clients to recommend procedures, writing specifications, performing code reviews, and assisting in all phases of the architectural process.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and apply architectural techniques to construction documents.
• Perform architectural assignments with general instruction from Project Architect or Project Manager.
• Work directly with clients to recommend procedures.
• Write specifications covering architectural matters.
• Perform code reviews.
• Assist Project Architects and other team members as needed.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Architecture preferred.
• 5-10 years of Architecture Experience.
• Experience in healthcare, educational, civic, science and research facilities.
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and 3-D Studio Max.
• Experience with Rhino and Grasshopper.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field.
• Credentials to obtain future registration.
• Proficient in the use of Autodesk Revit.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).
• Computational skills, scripting, modifying software.
