Responsibilities

• Create computer-aided plans for home designs using CAD technology.
• Draw accurate and detailed plans that illustrate home plans, building materials, and options.
• Develop forms, charts, and other construction documents for internal review.
• Collaborate with internal decision-makers and future homeowners to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
• Ensure that all designs meet the standards of quality and excellence expected by K. Hovnanian.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in the homebuilding industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Architectural Desktop and Google Sketchup.
• Knowledge of residential construction and structural and mechanical designs.
