About the position

The Architectural Drafter/Designer position at Bowden Architecture involves generating accurate design development and construction documents for both residential and commercial projects. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and complete drawings using AutoCad 2023 LT
• Accurately interpret architectural drawings and specifications
• Ability to work on several ongoing projects at the same time
• Identify problems and provide solutions
• Coordinate and work with project manager to resolve design conflicts

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with AutoCAD
• Construction background
• Understanding of general construction details and assembly
• 5+ years of architectural design/drafting experience
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Attention to detail and well organized
• Strong work ethic and driven
• Strong math skills
• Knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, AutoCad 2023 LT, and Adobe Acrobat
• Ability to self-direct and work independently with limited supervision
